This award is earned by making a difference in the community by practicing the values of the Girl Scout Law. It’s a way for Girl Scouts to get involved with a cause they care about. Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors who volunteer at least 20 hours to a community organization are eligible to earn Community Service Bars. There is a bar for each of the three levels which will be placed on a Girl Scout’s vest once earned. More details can be found in The Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting handbook.
