The heart of what we do starts with you
Our volunteers are standing alongside their troops as they go into their communities with their changemaker spirits. They’re the ones encouraging Girl Scouts to use their voices. They’re the ones staying up late to study new STEAM material to teach workshops in things like robotics and engineering. They say “you can reach for the stars” when girls say they want to go to space one day. They do all they can to guide their Girl Scouts closer to their dreams. Volunteers are the heart of what we do – building girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.
The annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony celebrates our volunteers and highlights those who have earned a council and national award for their dedication to mentoring the next generation of women leaders.
