Teen Girl Scouts who earn mentoring awards have the unique opportunity to act as champions for the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
As a Program Aide, you’ll turn some of your favorite activities into fun experiences for younger kids. In doing so, you’ll help build their confidence as well as open doors everywhere—in school, future jobs, and any role you take on. Get ready to see what you can do!

Leadership looks different for every person, and in this award, you’ll find out what it looks like for you. When you have earned this award, you'll have planned and led multiple activities for a group of younger kids/Girl Scouts.
The new Leader Guide for the Program Aide Award, allows you to support your Cadette Girl Scous as they pursue earning the award. The guide features summaries of each step and its purpose, and information on ways the facilitator can support each activity.
