Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles’ counselor-in-training (CIT) program is a year-round, progressive, experiential leadership opportunity for Girl Scouts in grades 9-12 who are interested in working as camp counselors during the summer – and expanding their leadership skills throughout the Girl Scout year.
CITs shadow counselors, serve as mentors, and work with younger girls at GSGLA day and overnight camps for a period of three weeks. They’ll also have access to year-round CIT meetings and volunteer opportunities at outdoor program events.
Grow your confidence through team building, self-discovery, and creating activities that leave a lasting impact on campers.
