She Leads, Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles’ biggest fundraiser of the year, was a smashing success!
Together we celebrated the power of girl potential, honored powerhouse women, and raised philanthropic support.
On the evening of Saturday, November 4, 2023, over 300 guests attended the open-air event at the Los Angeles Zoo’s Treetops Terrace to champion girl leadership and support GSGLA’s mission to make the life-changing benefits of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience accessible to every girl in Greater Los Angeles.
We presented GSGLA’s Changemaker Award to the exceptional Kathryn Busby, president of original programming for STARZ, and Kat Echazarreta, first Mexican-born woman to travel to space. Our deepest appreciation goes to the evening's talented emcee, NBC4’s Today in LA anchor Lynette Romero, a longtime friend to GSGLA.
