Girl Scouts can now build a bear or furry friend as unique as they are at our store at the Inglewood Innovation Center.
You’ll choose a furry friend, stuff it with the help of our staff, and then bring it to life with the iconic Build-A-Bear’s Heart Ceremony tailored specially to Girl Scouts! Then have some fun dressing your friend up with vests and tunics with matching troop numbers, outfits, cookie merchandise, accessories, sounds, and more!
Enjoy this activity on your own, with your troop or even have it be part of a special celebration, like a birthday party or bridging ceremony!

All Build-A-Bear pricing is determined by the Build-A-Bear Corporation. We are unable to match or offer discounts that you may find on the official Build-A-Bear website. Our merchandise selection is subject to change based on availability or season.
You are welcome to bring party supplies, including food and beverages to your scheduled event at the reserved Inglewood Innovation Center meeting space. Tables and chairs are available to use. Decorations are encouraged too!
Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles does not provide any party supplies or decorations.
Yes, there are two 2-hour time frames to choose from - 4:00-6:00 PM or 5:00-7:00 PM. Events are available to schedule on the first Tuesday of each month or the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.
Yes, it’s $6.00 an hour to reserve the Inglewood Innovation Center. Your event will begin downstairs in the Innovation Center. A staff member will take groups of five at a time upstairs to the GSGLA store to build their bears.
Up to 25 guests can be accommodated per event.
Yes, we can during our walk-in store hours:
*We recommend calling ahead as resources may be limited due to a high volume of in-store customers during peak seasons like Back to Troop and Cookie time.
Payment is due 24 hours in advance of your scheduled event. You will receive an invoice via email from the Store Manager. Any additions made to your event or for additional purchases will be charged at the end of your event.
If payment is not received prior to your event, we can reschedule your event.
Currently, we are unable to offer our guests this service.
Currently, we are only offering the Build-A-Bear Workshop at the Inglewood Service Center.
We want to make sure each of our guests is “beary” happy with their purchases. If for some reason you would like to return an item, we will be happy to assist you according to the terms of our Satisfaction Bearantee.*
A refund is available with the original proof of purchase from Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles Inglewood Service Center. If you do not have an original receipt, we will exchange or provide a merchandise credit for any returned product at our discretion. A refund or credit will be issued for the purchase price, current list price, or prorated price, depending on the item(s) returned.
We cannot accept returns from other Build-a-Bear Workshop locations.
Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

Our associates can make minor repairs at our Inglewood Service Center location; however, we are not able to accept bears requiring extensive repairs.
