Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles is committed to providing programs that engage and inspire our whole Girl Scout community well into the future. After the unprecedented events that unfolded around the globe over the last few years, our council pivoted in defining what our strategic plan looks like. We identified five strategic priorities to lead us through reconnecting, rebuilding, and rebounding over 18 months – a shorter timeframe than our traditional three-year strategic plan.
These bold initiatives build on our 100+ years of pioneering tradition and rely on the resources, partners, and champions that will help us uplift more women and forever change the leadership landscape for the better.
Here's a brief summary of the plan's five top priorities:
Stabilize and rebuild access for girls to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Transform the volunteer experience.
Deliver consistent and impactful experiences that are relevant for girls and their families.
Increase investment in girls and strengthen financial health.
Nurture diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging.
