Nestled between the Verdugo Mountains and the foothills of the Angeles National Forest, Montrose offers Girl Scouts nature close to home.
Montrose is a lovely, two-story indoor/outdoor facility that can accommodate a variety of activities and groups of all sizes. Outside, you'll find a serene park-like backyard lush with trees and chock-full of charming features like a rustic bridge over a tranquil pond, wishing well, firewood area, cozy fire pit, BBQ stations, and picnic tables. Step inside and explore the double-decker main building featuring a large vaulted-ceiling auditorium upstairs, and multiple "classrooms" downstairs.
Whether you're looking for space to meet and complete badge work, or experience the magic of overnight camping close to home, Montrose is perfect for making new memories with your troop. Pond and Bridge
Like a page out of a storybook, Montrose features a serene pond with wooden bridge. 🌿🐟🐸
Auditorium
Large upper-level auditorium with vaulted ceilings, projection screen, heating and AC, and Wi-Fi.
Kitchen
Full kitchen (upper level) equipped with stove, double oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and select utensils/supplies.
Red Room
Small "classroom" with HDMI TV on lower level. Accommodates 12 for day use, 8 for overnight.
Blue Room
Medium "classroom" on lower level with plenty of natural light and direct access to outdoors. Accommodates 20 for day use, 12 for overnight.
Kitchenette
Lower level kitchenette with sink and microwave.
