Nestled in the hillsides of North Claremont, La Casita is the perfect spot to embark on outdoor adventures close to home.

La Casita is a beautiful and historic campground cherished by generations of Girl Scouts. Adjacent to the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park, La Casita is home to fascinating native plants and animals, and is the ideal setting for an array of outdoor activities—from archery and ropes courses, to camping under the stars and hiking the local trails. The peaceful two-acre property also features a Spanish-style adobe program center for indoor activities, troop meetings, and more.

GSGLA acknowledges that we gather as a Girl Scout family on the land of Southern California indigenous peoples, and honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it through the generations. This calls us to commit to continuing to learn how to be better stewards of the land we inhabit as well. La Casita is nestled among the homeland of the Tongva tribe, an area known as Claremont, whose original name is Torojoatngna.
