Johnstone is a unique, multipurpose facility situated on a quiet hillside in San Dimas. The property is divided into a main building and campsite on either end of the hillside. “Upper Johnstone” is the perfect space for troop meetings, or trainings. It features a large main room, full kitchen and pleasant outdoor patio space which can be used for tent camping. Venture down the hill to “Lower Johnstone” where you’ll find a peaceful semi-wooded area with eucalyptus groves and an open shaded area perfect for outdoor activities. Amp up the camping fun with s’mores and songs around the campfire ring!

Wooded areas are perfect for outdoor activities, including a classic favorite: s’mores and songs around the campfire ring!
RESOURCE GUIDEGSGLA acknowledges that we gather as a Girl Scout family on the land of Southern California indigenous peoples, and honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it through the generations. This calls us to commit to continuing to learn how to be better stewards of the land we inhabit as well. When you visit the Johnston program center, you are standing on the traditional land of the Tongva Gabrieleño and Fernandeño Tatavium.
