At just over an acre, Mariposa is an intimate gated facility nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood in the foothills in Altadena. Mariposa is used for troop and service unit meetings, events, overnight camp-outs, council programs, and trainings. Features include: one main building with a large meeting room, kitchen, and adjacent restrooms with showers. Amenities include: a campfire ring with flag pole, pine benches, outdoor BBQ area with picnic tables, pond with small ceremonial bridge, large grassy field, covered patios, and meadow area for nature study.

Facilities Overview

Statement of Facility Use: Mariposa is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The use of amplified sound is prohibited at any time. Quiet hours are to be observed from 9:30 pm to 7:00 am. Please be kind to our neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum during these hours.
