Learn range and equipment set-up, safety procedures, and proper
archer technique.
This gsEvents registration is for the
practical course only. Online portion must be completed before
in-person training.
To successfully obtain the USA Archery Level 1 Instructor
certification, you must:
1. Register and complete USA Archery Level 1 Instructor
Online Course
(https://www.usarchery.org/coaches/become-a-coach/level-1-instructor-certification)
first, before the date of the GSGLA in person training. The required
online course is an additional $40 which you will pay directly to USA
Archery.
2. Attend and pass the practical exam on July
18.
You MUST provide verification of
completion for the online portion to the instructor. If you are unable
to show proof of online course completion, you cannot attend the
in-person practical course.
Once you have attended and completed the in-person skills
testing date, you will receive an email directly from USA Archery
within 5-7 business days with your certificate. If registrants do
not complete the course by the end date and/or do not successfully
pass the course, no refunds will be issued, and registrants will
need to register and complete the entire training again to receive a certificate.

Cancellation Policy:
- Registration is paid in full at time of registering.
- For registration fee of $10 or less: no refunds.
- For registration fees exceeding $10: cancellations prior to close of registration are subject to a 10% administration fee.
- All cancellations after close of registration: no refund.
- No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for any registrant who arrives late, leaves early, attends only part of the program, or chooses not to attend the program.
- The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
- Please allow one week to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
