True North Leadership Experience
The Girl Scouts True North Award is a personal leadership award designed for Juniors through Ambassadors to discover their core values, set courageous goals, and build the confidence to lead their own way. As a Girl Scout you've probably had many amazing adventures and have spent a lot of time to help make the world a better place. But now, it is time to enhance your leadership journey.
Your next step in your leadership expedition is waiting.... The True North Leadership Experience!
The True North Leadership Award helps Girl Scouts discover what matters most to them, identify their personal values, and build the confidence to take action and lead with courage. During this event, girls will explore their strengths, practice decision-making, and develop leadership skills that empower them to make a positive impact in their communities and throughout their lives.
Girl Scouts can earn the True North Award simply to strengthen their leadership journey and challenge themselves to grow as leaders. For Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors, the award is also an excellent stepping stone toward the Highest Awards. Earning the True North Award fulfills a prerequisite for the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award, helping girls prepare for their next leadership achievement while building the skills needed to tackle larger community impact projects

Refund Policy:
- Registration is paid in full at time of registering.
- No Transfers.
- For registration fee of $10 or less: no refunds.
- For registration fees exceeding $10: cancellations prior to close of registration are subject to a 10% administration fee.
- All cancellations after close of registration: no refund.
- No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for any registrant who arrives late, leaves early, attends only part of the program, or chooses not to attend the program.
- The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
- Please allow 2 weeks to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
