Troop Leaders! Hit the Easy Button with the interactive Podcasting
Lab! Step into the Girl Scout Media Studio and explore the art of
video podcasting! In this hands-on, guided 2-hour program for up to 16
Girl Scouts, Girl Scouts will learn the basics of creating a
podcast-from brainstorming ideas and crafting a story to recording and
editing in a professional media space.
No experience is needed!
Participants will leave with a short, original podcast segment,
practical audio storytelling skills, and the confidence to share their
voice with the world.
Things to Know:
A session is a two-hour block of time at the lab. It includes
access for up to 16 Girl Scouts. Adult to Girl ratios must be met. We
aim to make you feel comfortable, confident, and prepared to complete
this guided 2-hour program with your troop.
Note: Participants should bring a reusable water
bottle and can fill it up at the water refill station.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Registration is paid in full at time of registering
- For registration fee of $10 or less: no refunds
- For registration fees exceeding $10: cancellations prior to close of registration are subject to a 10% administration fee.
- All cancellations after close of registration: no refund
- No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for any registrant who arrives late, leaves early, attends only part of the program, or chooses not to attend the program.
- The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
- Please allow one week to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
