Grades: K - 3rd, Adults
Join the American Red Cross and meet Pedro the Penguin in this interactive Safety Award workshop for Daisies and Brownies. Girl Scouts will learn how to be prepared and take action during home fires or local emergencies through stories, videos, and hands-on activities. Practice a calming coping skill and receive a storybook to help share what you've learned at home, supporting safety awareness beyond the workshop.
This is a troop and/or individual Girl Scout event. Both Adults and
Girl Scouts must register. Adult registration and attendance are
required to meet the appropriate Adult-to-Girl ratio guidelines.
Adults are responsible for health history form and
supervising/assisting girl(s).
Note:
Staff reserve the right to make allowances for more, or to
limit the number of adults due to space limitations. We will notify
you of any changes in advance. Thank you for your understanding as we
try to maximize the number of Girl Scouts who can experience this
program, while also ensuring safe and adequate supervision.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Registration is paid in full at the time of registering.
- For registration fee of $10 or less: no refunds.
- For registration fees exceeding $10: cancellations prior to the close of registration are subject to a 10% administration fee.
- All cancellations after close of registration: no refund.
- No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for any registrant who arrives late, leaves early, attends only part of the program, or chooses not to attend the program.
- The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
- Please allow one week to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
