Camp Name: Marine Landing
The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is a dynamic leadership
experience for 9th-12th grade teens ready to grow as mentors and role
models. CIT 1 introduces foundational leadership skills through
hands-on learning, youth development exploration, and camper
engagement. After completing CIT 1, participants can advance to CIT 2,
where they deepen their leadership abilities, mentor younger campers,
and help foster a positive camp culture. Both programs build
confidence, communication, and teamwork- essential skills for future
roles in youth development and beyond.
*Due to the limited capacity of this program, we are prioritizing
registration of GSGLA Girl Scout members until February 25, 2026. Out
of council registration will open February 26.
CIT-LIT Cancellation and Refund Policy
- No Transfers. Cancellations only.
- Cancellations 2 weeks prior to the start of the session: Full refund minus a 20% administration fee
- Cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the session: no refund
- No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for campers who arrive late, leave early, attend only part of the camp, or choose not to attend the camp.
- If a camper can no longer attend due to Illness or injury, a physician's letter must accompany the refund request prior to start of camp. Please email to registration@girlscoutsla.org
- Please check school calendars prior to registering your camper.
- If a camper is required to attend summer school, please contact registration@girlscoutsla.org.
- The council will provide a refund if it cancels an activity due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control. Refund may be pro-rated if applicable.
