Earn your Trail Adventure Badge as you embark on an outdoor adventure full of excitement, surprises, and exploration!
Discover something new, from scenic views and wildlife to hidden trails and personal strengths you never knew you had. Learn how to plan ahead, fuel your body for adventure, pack the right gear, and even make your own tasty trail mix to power your journey. Build confidence with fun training tips and navigational skills, including how to use the Sun and a compass to find north, south, east, and west. Keep an adventure journal to track your hikes or runs, celebrate your accomplishments, and reflect on your favorite trail moments. Then lace up your shoes, hit the trail, and discover how far your adventurous spirit can take you!
As part of the workshop, girls will enjoy a hike along the Pathfinder Park Loop, an easy, beginner-friendly trail that is approximately 0.70 miles long, while practicing their new outdoor skills.
This is an outdoor experience, and safety comes first. In the event of rain or severe weather, we may need to postpone or cancel. Please keep an eye on your email for updates.

This is a troop and/or individual Girl Scout event. Both Adults and Girl Scouts must register. Adult registration and attendance are required to meet the appropriate Adult-to-Girl ratio guidelines. Adults are responsible for health history form and supervising/assisting girl(s).

Program Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Registration is paid in full at time of registering
- For registration fee of $10 or less: no refunds
- For registration fees exceeding $10: cancellations prior to close of registration are subject to a 10% administration fee.
- All cancellations after close of registration: no refund
- No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for any registrant who arrives late, leaves early, attends only part of the program, or chooses not to attend the program.
- The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
- Please allow one week to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
