In Session 3 of our High Adventure Series, participants will take their boating skills to the next level with a local rafting company. Participants will have the option to spend the night at the Santa Clarita service center on the 29th, participating in team building activities to prepare for our adventure the next day and then travel to Eagle Rafting on the 30th.
Participants do not need to attend Session 1 or 2 to join Session 3, and no prior boating experience is required; however, swimming experience is required.

*Virtual Info session being held on May 14th at 6pm.

OPTIONAL: May 29th arrive at 4PM; team building at Santa Clarita Service Center begins at 4:30PM. Optional spending the night.
*May 30th departing on the bus to Eagle Rock at 7am, round trip transportation is being provided - please meet at the Santa Clarita Service Center no later than 6:45am for check-in and bus loading.
Final event details will be mailed out two weeks before.
It is required that all leaders have a record of the following for each person participating in their group for the weekend. Please make sure to have these documents complete and in your possession prior to our trip.
-GS Permission Form.
-Over the Counter (OTC) Form.
-Health Information and Release Form.
*Overnights have additional approvals and requirements for troops to comply with GSGLA Safety Activity Checkpoints. Please refer to "Overnights 101" to learn more.
Adult to girl ratio must be met.

Refund Policy:

  • Registration is paid in full at time of registering
  • For registration fee of $10 or less: no refunds.
  • For registration fees exceeding $10: cancellations prior to close of registration are subject to a 20% administration fee.
  • All cancellations after close of registration: no refund.
  • No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for any registrant who arrives late, leaves early, attends only part of the program, or chooses not to attend the program.
  • The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
  • Please allow 2 weeks to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
