Rev up your creativity with experts from the Petersen Automotive Museum and earn ALL three Automotive Badges: Automotive Design, Automotive Engineering, and Automotive Manufacturing!
Discover the exciting world of automotive design and innovation as you learn how cars are made-from the first sketch to the final test drive. You'll explore how art and science work together to create vehicles that are cool, colorful, and ready to roll. Design your own car, build a prototype, and test it to see how well it performs!
Then, shift gears into the world of car manufacturing! Find out how real cars are built in factories and how assembly lines help teams work faster and smarter. You'll work together to create your own mini assembly line, build vehicles, and test them for quality.
This is a troop and/or individual Girl Scout event. Both Adults and Girl Scouts must register. Adult registration and attendance are required to meet the appropriate Adult-to-Girl ratio guidelines. Adults are responsible for supervising and assisting girl(s).
Note: Staff reserve the right to make allowances for more, or to limit the number of adults due to space limitations. We will notify you of any changes in advance. Thank you for your understanding as we try to maximize the number of Girl Scouts who can experience this program, while also ensuring safe and adequate supervision.
