Discover where a career in the built environment can take you! Join women professionals from Stantec, a global design and engineering company, for an inspiring Emerging Leaders Career Exploration experience. Girl Scouts will tour a professional workplace, tackle architecture, engineering, and construction challenges, and connect with role models across a variety of careers. Along the way, they'll explore future possibilities, build confidence through problem-solving, and gain insight into how communities are designed and built.

Step inside the world of architecture, engineering, and construction and discover where a career in the built environment can take you! Join women professionals from Stantec, a global design and engineering company, for an Emerging Leaders Career Exploration experience designed to spark new possibilities. Girl Scouts will tour a professional workplace, tackle interactive architecture, engineering, and construction challenges, and connect with women leaders whose work helps shape communities around the world.

What to expect:

Office Tour:
Get a behind-the-scenes look at Stantec's workplace and see how teams collaborate to design, engineer, and deliver projects that make an impact.

Exploration Stations:
Girl Scouts will rotate through two hands-on Exploration Stations featuring challenges focused on architecture, engineering, and construction. Working in teams, they'll think creatively, test ideas, solve problems, and experience how professionals approach real-world projects.

Women @ Stantec Career Panel & Q&A:
Meet women professionals representing a variety of roles and disciplines across the built environment. Through an interactive panel discussion, Girl Scouts will learn about educational journeys, career experiences, and the many pathways available within architecture, engineering, and construction. They'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about what panelists do, how they got to where they are today, the choices they made along the way, and what inspired the career paths they've taken.

Through this experience, Girl Scouts will:
Explore careers in architecture, engineering, and construction
Build confidence through creative problem-solving
Strengthen communication and networking skills

Whether they're already interested in design and engineering or just beginning to think about the future, Girl Scouts will leave with new connections, fresh inspiration, and a broader vision of where their interests can take them. Come discover, explore, and imagine what's possible!

An adult ratio is required, but please limit adults to the minimum necessary due to limited space.
