Join the Engineer Factory in building hands-on projects with your fellow Girl Scouts! Build, test, experiment, and solve problems like an engineer. Design and build a functioning car, while learning about potential and kinetic energy! If solving problems excites you, you may want to think about becoming a mechanical engineer!
Girl Scouts earn a badge according to their level:
Daisy Model Car Design Challenge Badge, Brownie Race Car Design Challenge Badge, and Junior Balloon Car Design Challenge Badge.
This is a troop and/or individual Girl Scout event. Both Adults and Girl Scouts must register. Adult registration and attendance are required to meet the appropriate Adult-to-Girl ratio guidelines. Adults are responsible for health history form and supervising/assisting girl(s).

Note: Staff reserve the right to make allowances for more, or to limit the number of adults due to space limitations. We will notify you of any changes in advance. Refund Policy

  • Registration is paid in full at time of registering.
  • No Transfers.
  • For registration fee of $10 or less: no refunds.
  • For registration fees exceeding $10:  cancellations prior to close of registration are subject to a 10% administration fee.
  • All cancellations after close of registration: no refund.
  • No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for any registrant who arrives late, leaves early, attends only part of the program, or chooses not to attend the program.
  • The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
  • Please allow 2 weeks to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
