The holiday season can bring joy, connection, and celebration, but it can also introduce stress, overwhelm, and emotional challenges. In partnership with NAMI Westside Los Angeles, this engaging and supportive workshop is designed to help Girl Scout volunteers prioritize their emotional wellness while navigating the unique demands of the holiday season.
Participants will explore common emotional experiences during this time of year, including stress, burnout, grief, loneliness, and increased responsibilities. Through guided discussion, reflective activities, and real-world examples, attendees will gain practical strategies for managing expectations, setting healthy boundaries, practicing self-care, and building resilience during both busy and difficult moments.
The session will also highlight ways volunteers can foster emotional well-being within their troops and communities, creating spaces where girls and adults feel supported, connected, and understood. Participants will leave with helpful resources, wellness tools, and actionable techniques they can use throughout the holiday season and beyond.
Ideal for troop leaders and volunteers, this workshop empowers participants to approach the holidays with greater balance, compassion, and confidence while nurturing healthy, resilient Girl Scout communities.
