Design, drop, and discover at UCLA! Girl Scouts will build, test,
and improve their own designs during a fun egg drop challenge.
Participants will enjoy a mini tour of the UCLA campus and take part
in an interactive Q&A with ASME (American Society of Mechanical
Engineering) students as they share their robotics projects, college
experiences, and pathways into engineering. This engaging experience
builds confidence, curiosity, and real-world STEAM connections while
helping girls imagine themselves as future engineers.
Participants will earn their STEM Career Exploration badge for their
respective Girl Scout level.
*Paid parking will be available on
the UCLA campus, and registered families will receive clear parking
and arrival instructions in advance.
This is a troop and/or
individual Girl Scout event. Both Adults and Girl Scouts must
register. Adult registration and attendance are required to meet the
appropriate Adult-to-Girl ratio guidelines. Adults are responsible for
health history form and supervising/assisting girl(s).
Note:
Staff reserve the right to make allowances for more, or to
limit the number of adults due to space limitations. We will notify
you of any changes in advance. Thank you for your understanding as we
try to maximize the number of Girl Scouts who can experience this
program, while also ensuring safe and adequate supervision.
