Grades: K - 1st, Adults
Daisies, get ready to explore like scientists! Through playful
stories by author Gisa Nico, inspired by America's national parks,
girls will observe nature, use simple science tools, and discover
animal habitats during hands-on outdoor activities. Daisies will
practice noticing patterns, asking questions, and sharing what they
see-just like real citizen scientists! Along the way, they'll learn
how their observations help protect plants and animals and will earn
their Daisy Citizen Science badge by the end of the program.
This is a troop and/or individual Girl Scout event. Both Adults and
Girl Scouts must register. Adult registration and attendance are
required to meet the appropriate Adult-to-Girl ratio guidelines.
Adults are responsible for health history form and
supervising/assisting girl(s).
Note:
Staff reserve the right to make allowances for more, or to
limit the number of adults due to space limitations. We will notify
you of any changes in advance. Thank you for your understanding as we
try to maximize the number of Girl Scouts who can experience this
program, while also ensuring safe and adequate supervision.
