Credit can open doors-or create challenges-depending on how you use it. This program breaks down the basics of credit so you can make informed decisions now and set yourself up for success later.

Girl Scouts will learn the "3 C's of Credit," how credit scores are calculated and ways to improve them, and the real cost of borrowing. The program also covers why minimum payments can lead to long-term debt and the key differences between debit and credit, what builds credit and what doesn't.

Presented by CARE Los Angeles, a non-profit dedicated to empowering individuals with the knowledge to make smart financial decisions.
