Ready to start your babysitting business? This in-person course
will prepare girls to safely and confidently care for children and
infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to
develop essential, real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course
covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety and
emergency response. At the end of the training, girls will be prepared
to start their first babysitting business as a new babysitter.
Adults: We will need at least one cleared
volunteer to stay for the entire training course in order to meet
proper adult-to-girl ratios.
Please
Note:Please bring your own lunch, a water bottle, paper, and
a pen.A small snack will be provided. Girls will receive a handbook,
and quick reference book. Girls that are attending without an adult
need to bring a completed Health History and OTC form with them.
This class is offered by certified American Red Cross volunteer
instructors using American Red Cross curriculum.This training does not
include CPR/AED & First Aid; girls will need to take a separate
training to be certified.

Cancellation Policy
- Registration is paid in full at time of registering
- No Transfers
- Cancellations prior to close of registration are subject to a 10% administration fee
- All cancellations after close of registration: no refund
- The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
- Please allow 2 weeks to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
