Join us for an unforgettable week of zoology and botany adventures! Designed with young nature enthusiasts in mind, discover and identify fascinating plants and animals while exploring the great outdoors during a field trip to the LA Zoo! Campers will get a close-up look examining owl pellet, learn about physics by racing plastic animals along a zip-line, combine art and science to make glowing circuit flowers, craft paper seed bombs that you can plant, and much more!
Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors will earn the Design with Nature badge.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. Camps that do not require a deposit (Program Aide, CIT, LIT, Troop Camp) are subject to a 20% cancellation/change fee.
- Please check school calendars prior to registering your camper to avoid loss of deposit.
- Cancellations two weeks prior to the start of the session: full refund minus deposit.
- Cancellations less than two weeks prior to the start of the session: no refund.
- No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for campers who arrive late, leave early, attend only part of the camp, or choose not to attend the camp.
- If a camper can no longer attend due to illness or injury, a physician's letter must accompany the refund request prior to start of camp. Please email to registration@girlscoutsla.org. * If a camper is required to attend summer school, please contact registration@girlscoutsla.org.
- The council will provide a refund if it cancels an activity due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control. Refund may be pro-rated if applicable.
¡Ven y acompáñanos para pasar una semana inolvidable de aventuras
de zoología y botánica! Se diseñó teniendo en mente a las jóvenes
entusiastas de la naturaleza, ¡descubre e identifica plantas y
animales fascinantes mientras exploras la naturaleza al aire libre
durante una excursión al Zoológico de Los Ángeles!
Las campistas tendrán una vista de cerca examinando bolitas de búho,
estudiarán física haciendo competir animales de plástico por una
tirolesa, combinarán arte y ciencia para hacer flores de circuitos
brillantes, harán bombas de semillas usando papel que podrán plantar y
mucho más.
Daisies, Brownies y Juniors se ganarán la
insignia "Design with Nature".
