In this foundational session of our High Adventure Series,
participants will "learn the ropes" of rock climbing through
hands-on instruction and practice at El Ranchito Day Camp's on-site
climbing wall. This beginner-friendly experience introduces essential
climbing techniques, safety protocols, equipment use, and
communication skills in a supportive and structured environment. No
experience required!
This session prepares participants
for Session 2: Climb On, where they will expand their skills on indoor
rock walls at a local climbing gym.

Refund Policy:
- Registration is paid in full at time of registering
- For registration fee of $10 or less: no refunds.
- For registration fees exceeding $10: cancellations prior to close of registration are subject to a 10% administration fee.
- All cancellations after close of registration: no refund.
- No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for any registrant who arrives late, leaves early, attends only part of the program, or chooses not to attend the program.
- The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
- Please allow 2 weeks to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
