This workshop equips volunteers with essential knowledge of the Volunteer Toolkit (VTK) and gsLearn, two powerful platforms designed to streamline troop planning and volunteer education. Through hands-on exploration, participants will learn how to navigate these tools, manage their troop's schedule, and access valuable training resources.

Introduction to Volunteer Toolkit (VTK)
-Overview of VTK as a digital planning assistant for troop
leaders.
-Navigating the some of the main tabs: My Troop,
Explore, Year Plan, and Meeting Plan
-Customizing meeting plans,
tracking Girl Scout achievements, managing calendars, and sending
communications.
-Hands-on practice customizing troop year plans
and sending parent emails.
Using gsLearn for Volunteer Training
-Exploring gsLearn as a centralized learning platform for
volunteer education.
-Navigating the homepage: tracking assigned
courses and understanding learning paths.
-Utilizing the Content
Library and enrolling in relevant courses.
-Understanding the
Achievements tab to view completed trainings and access
certificates.
