Looking to sharpen your outdoor skills? The Chop & Burn Workshop is a hands-on experience focused on mastering essential camping techniques. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a beginner eager to learn, this workshop provides practical training in knife and hatchet use, fire-building, and the joy of a well-earned campfire treat.

What we will cover:
-Practice breaking down wood with knife and hatchet use
- Learn fire-building techniques from Camping Skills 1 & 2
- Enjoy a traditional campfire experience


What to Bring:
-Pocketknife
-Bandana
-Hair tie (if needed)
-Closed-toe shoes
-Water bottle
-Camp chair or sit-upon

 

An email will be sent out a few days prior to the event with event details. In case of inclement weather, including heavy rain or strong winds, the event may be postponed or canceled.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Registration is paid in full at time of registering (If applicable)
  • No Transfers
  • Cancellations prior to close of registration are subject to a 10% administration fee
  • All cancellations after close of registration:  no refund
  • The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
  • Please allow 2 weeks to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
