Have you completed the CIT 1 & 2 program? Are you curious about career opportunities that await you?

During this two-week experience (Monday to Friday), you'll not only build on what you learned in CIT 1 & 2, but also take on a bigger role in mentoring younger campers and shaping the camp environment. This hands-on experience is perfect for developing skills that can help you in future job opportunities, especially if you're interested in working with youth. Whether you dream of becoming a teacher, camp director, or youth program leader, the skills you gain here will make you stand out in any application.

Prerequisite: Completed CIT (Counselor in Training) 1 & 2 at Camp Lakota.

Transportation
Bus transportation (roundtrip) is included in the cost of each session. This allows campers an opportunity to meet other campers before they arrive at camp. Overnight camp buses are chaperoned by camp staff. 

Transportation method is indicated on your CampDoc forms and once selected, cannot be changed. Chartered buses will run roundtrip from the following GSGLA service centers: Arcadia, Canoga Park, Inglewood, and Long Beach. Slice of Adventure, Troop Camp, and Weekend camps do not include transportation.

 

Horseback Riders

5'10 must be less than 230 pounds

5'9 must be less than 220 pounds

5'8 must be less than 210 pounds

5'7 must be less than 200 Pounds

5'6 must be less than 190 Pounds

5'5 must be less than 180 Pounds

5'4 must be less than 170 Pounds

5'3 must be less than 160 pounds

5'2 must be less than 150 pounds

5'1 must be less than 140 pounds

 

Refund Policy 

  • Deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. Camps that do not require a deposit (Program Aide, CIT, LIT, Troop Camp, Weekend Camps) are subject to a 20% cancellation/change fee.
  • Please check school calendars prior to registering your camper to avoid loss of deposit.
  • Cancellations two weeks prior to the start of the session: full refund minus deposit.
  • Cancellations less than two weeks prior to the start of the session: no refund.
  • No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for campers who arrive late, leave early, attend only part of the camp, or choose not to attend the camp.
  • If a camper can no longer attend due to illness or injury, a physician's letter must accompany the refund request prior to start of camp. If a camper is required to attend school, please contact registration@girlscoutsla.org.
  • The council will provide a refund if it cancels an activity due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control. Refund may be pro-rated if applicable.

Transporte

El transporte en autobús (de ida y vuelta) está incluido en el costo de cada sesión. Esto permite que las campistas conozcan a otras niñas antes de llegar al campamento. El personal del campamento supervisa los autobuses de los campamentos con estancia nocturna.

El método de transporte se indica en sus formularios CampDoc y una vez seleccionado, no se puede cambiar. Los autobuses fletados harán viajes de ida y vuelta partiendo desde los siguientes centros de servicio de la GSGLA: Arcadia, Canoga Park, Inglewood y Long Beach. Slice of Adventure, los campamentos para Tropas, y los campamentos en fin de semana no incluyen transporte.
