Camp Name: Marine Landing
A Powwow is a social gathering of differing cultures--this week we
are celebrating the cultures native to California through their art!
Hop in your outrigger canoe and learn how to make Chumash pottery and
practice the art of Tongva story telling.
*All campers
will receive daily snacks, camp patch, any badges earned, a group
picture, and a commemorative camp item.
Badges Earned:
Daisies will earn the Design in Nature badge
Brownies
will earn the Potter badge
Juniors will earn the Jeweler
badge
Cadettes will earn the Public Speaker badge
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- No Transfers. Cancellations Only
- Deposits: non-refundable, non-transferable
- Cancellations 2 weeks prior to the start of camp: Full refund minus deposit
- Cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to the start of camp: no refund
- No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for campers who arrive late, leave early, attend only part of the camp, or choose not to attend the camp.
- If a camper can no longer attend due to Illness or injury, a physician's letter must accompany the refund request prior to start of camp. Please email to registration@girlscoutsla.org
- Please check school calendars prior to registering your camper to avoid loss of deposit.
- If a camper is required to attend summer school, please contact registration@girlscoutsla.org.
- The council will provide a refund if it cancels an activity due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control. Refund may be pro-rated if applicable.
- Please allow 2 weeks to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
