This is an American Red Cross Lifeguarding-BL course for GSGLA staff only. Training dates are Friday, May 3 - Sunday, May 5. Candidates are required to complete the online portion of the Lifeguarding-BL course through the Red Cross Learning Center (before the first day of class). Candidates will receive a separate email from the Red Cross with information to complete the pre-course work online. Please read the email carefully and follow the link in the email to complete the online portion. Candidates are also required to attend in-person sessions in full each day of training. The registration fee covers the cost of the certification and lifeguard equipment (whistle, rebreather mask, and hip pack).

Refund Policy
* Registration is paid in full at the time of registering.
* For registration fee of $10 or less: no refunds
* For
registration fees exceeding $10: cancellations prior to the close of
registration are subject to a 10% administration fee.
* All
cancellations after close of registration: no refund
* No
refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for any registrant who
arrives late, leaves early, attends only part of the program, or
chooses not to attend the program.
* The council will provide
a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient
registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its
control.
* Please allow one week to process refunds. Refund
will be credited back to original form of payment.
