GSGLA solicits and vets candidates to serve three-year terms as our National Council delegates, and elections are held at our annual meetings. The next election of delegates will be held at our annual meeting in 2025).
The application is available for current adult members, lifetime members and girl members, ages 14-17 (girl members must be 14 years old by April 1, 2025).
If chosen, the GSGLA delegate agrees to participate in all mandatory pre-event trainings and meetings, attend the National Council Session in 2026 (location TBD), and participate in after-event duties. Delegates serve a three-year term, April 2025 – April 2028. Delegates from all councils establish requirements for credentials, discuss and vote on proposals, and influence the strategic direction of the Movement by providing guidance to the National Board.
