Locks of Love

We love the gift of giving!

K-EARTH 101, Supercuts, and Paul Mitchell have teamed up with Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles and sister council, Girl Scouts of Orange County, for its annual Locks of Love Week. Girl Scouts from around Southern California have an opportunity to earn a special patch and get a FREE haircut by donating 10-inches or more of hair that will be used to provide hairpieces to financially disadvantaged kids suffering from hair loss. Participating girls will also get a free Paul Mitchell 413 Sculpting Hair Brush (while supplies last).

Locks of Love Week, June 10-16, 2019

Throughout Locks of Love Week, Girl Scouts are invited to visit a participating Supercuts to get a free haircut from an expert stylist when they donate 10-inches or more of hair to Locks of Love. Learn more about Locks of Love and the organization's donation requirements

Each year, Girl Scouts are also encouraged to attend a special Locks of Love kick-off event at Universal City Walk. This epic "haircut party" event is hosted by K-EARTH 101’s Gary Bryan and Lisa Stanley, and includes lots of prizes and special surprises!

Get the patch! Girl and adult members who donate (or collect) hair during 2019 Locks of Love Week earn a patch. Just share a photo of you making the donation (before and after shots, sitting in the Supercuts chair, in front of a poster at Supercuts, etc.) to staff at a GSGLA store and they’ll give you this awesome patch.
