Refund and Cancellation Policies

Events/Virtual Events
  • Registration is paid in full at time of registering.
  • For registration fee of $10 or less: no refunds.
  • For registration fees exceeding $10: cancellations prior to close of registration are subject to a 10% administration fee.
  • All cancellations after close of registration: no refunds.
  • No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for any registrant who arrives late, leaves early, attends only part of the program, or chooses not to attend the program.
  • The council will provide a refund if an activity is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control.
  • Please allow 2 weeks to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
Training

Camp
  • Deposits: non-refundable, non-transferable.
  • Cancellations 2 weeks prior to the start of camp: Full refund minus deposit.
  • Cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to the start of camp: no refunds.
  •  No refunds and no prorated refunds will be made for campers who arrive late, leave early, attend only part of the camp, or choose not to attend the camp.
  • If a camper can no longer attend due to Illness or injury, a physician's letter must accompany the refund request prior to start of camp. Please email to registration@girlscoutsla.org.
  • Please check school calendars prior to registering your camper to avoid loss of deposit.
  • If a camper is required to attend summer school, please contact registration@girlscoutsla.org.
  • The council will provide a refund if it cancels an activity due to insufficient registrations, acts of nature, or other reasons beyond its control. Refund may be pro-rated if applicable.
  • Please allow 2 weeks to process refunds. Refund will be credited back to original form of payment.
