Property Updates

At Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles, we know every girl has the potential to unleash the leader within -- we just need to give her the support, experiences, and spaces to make it happen.  Our capital projects help us continuously provide girls with unique and safe spaces to learn and lead. March / April 2020 Update

We’re still here! Construction at Camp Lakota has made great progress since our last in-person visit. The dining hall is nearly complete; all equipment has been fitted and flooring is scheduled to be installed soon. Cabin and restroom walls are up, and the construction crew is currently working on the siding and built-in bunk beds. We’ve partnered with a landscape architect to add a bit of (Girl Scout) green to the property, selecting native plants and determining placement. We cannot wait for girls to experience the fully renovated Camp Lakota in Summer 2021 – it will be worth the long wait!
