Girl Scout Cookie Program

An icon of American culture, the annual Girl Scout Cookie Program evolved from a local event in Oklahoma in 1917. It is now the leading business and entrepreneurial program run by girls. Why should your girls participate? To develop the Five Skills for Girls that last a lifetime!

The 2017 cookie program will run from Jan. 29–March 12.

Girl Scout Fall Product Program

The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles Fall Product Program gives girls the same skill development benefits of our famous cookie program, but offers delectable nuts and snacks from the Trophy Nut Company along with great magazine subscription and renewal offers from M2 Media Group.

The 2016 fall product program will run from Sept. 30–Nov. 20.

Product Program Participation Matters

In April 2013, the Girl Scout Research Institute released a study, Having It All: Girls and Financial Literacy, which revealed that 90 percent of girls say it is important for them to learn how to manage money. However, just 12 percent of girls surveyed feel "very confident" making financial decisions. The GSGLA Fall Product and Cookie Programs introduce financial literacy to girls in a way that is fun and relevant by showing them how to run their own business. Every girl should participate! Talk to your troop leader about signing up today.
