In celebration of the Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary in 2012, Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles is hosting the Girl Scouts’ float in the Tournament of Roses® Parade, January 2, 2012. 156 Girl Scouts will represent the movement and participate in the parade:

 • 60 Gold and Silver Award Girl Scouts will walk with the Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Float,

 • 7 Girl Scouts will be in the color guard in front of the Girl Scouts’ float,

 • 10 Girl Scouts representing each level of Girl Scouting (Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior, Ambassador) will be on the float (note: because of Tournament of Roses age restrictions some of our Girl Scouts will be representing a younger level),
