Workplace and Matching Gifts
What are Workplace Gifts?
Many companies and organizations offer their employees the opportunity to donate to charities through payroll deduction. You may be able to have deductions from your paycheck donated directly to GSGLA.
Does your employer have United Way giving? If so, you could designate your gifts to “Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles.” Be sure to include the full name to ensure that your gift comes to the local Girl Scout council.
What are Matching Gifts?
There are two main type of matching gifts.
- Donation Match – Your donation can do even more! This is when your employer matches a percentage of your donation to GSGLA with a donation to GSGLA.
- Volunteer Match – Turn your volunteering into a donation! This is when your employer “matches” your volunteering hours at GSGLA with a monetary donation to GSGLA.
Below you will find a list of organizations from which GSGLA has received a workplace and/or matching gift:
Arrow Electronics, Inc.
Bank of America
Bank of the West
