Our girls are your future employees
Align your company with an organization dedicated solely to girls. Our programs have helped develop more than 50 million women leaders who have shaped the course of our nation. Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles serves more than 40,000 girls including 6,000 at-risk girls. Your support will not only ensure that Girl Scouting is available to every girl in Los Angeles, but will also make sure that our annual programs continue to thrive and empower our girls to achieve their goals and become tomorrow’s leaders.
- Sponsor a program for a year - Your company will be listed as the sponsor for one of our program areas: Leadership, Business and Financial Literacy, Outdoor Adventure, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math), or Healthy Living.
- Co-branded patch program - Your company logo will be placed on a custom-made patch and will be tied to a single activity hosted by your company or GSGLA.
- Events - ToGetHerThere Luncheon, Gold Award Ceremony, Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Ceremony, and more.
- Entertainment - Movie programs, screenings, and more.
In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts, Girl Scouts of the USA has launched the largest, boldest advocacy and fundraising cause dedicated to girls’ leadership in the history of our nation: ToGetHerThere.
Girl Scouts is leveraging this unique moment in our history to create a foundation for the future: a multiyear, multipronged effort to break down societal barriers that hinder girls from leading and achieving success in every field from technology and science to business and industry.
Our long-term goal is ambitious and urgent: to create balanced leadership in one generation. We are calling on all members of society to help girls reach their leadership potential, because when girls succeed, so does society. All of us have a role in making that happen. Together, we will get her there.
When: Wednesday, December 10, 2014
Where: Hollywood & Highland Ballroom
Over 800 of the most accomplished and influential women in Los Angeles will gather for the second bi-annual ToGetHerThere Luncheon to celebrate female leadership and to inspire Emerging Leaders—Gold Award Girl Scouts who are making a difference in their communities, and poised to be the leaders of tomorrow.
The ToGetHerThere Luncheon will honor our ToGetHerThere Champions: corporations who innovate and lead in the fields of Leadership; Business and Financial Literacy; Outdoor Adventure; STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math); and Healthy Living and have made a commitment to ToGetHerThere through their financial support of these Girl Scout programs.
Emerging Leader Mentor Session
The luncheon will also recognize 100 high school Girl Scouts for their extraordinary accomplishments, demonstration of high leadership potential, dedication to the values of Girl Scouting, community service, and personal development. At the luncheon, the girls will have an opportunity in the morning to meet and be matched with female executives who work in various careers. These girls represent the best and brightest of today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders.
We invite you to join us.
We can't transform American leadership in a year, but we can transform expectations in a year. We can transform awareness in a year. Together, we can get her there. Get informed. Speak up. Invest in girls.
Be a part of the movement ToGetHerThere.
