- Why Girl Scouts?
One girl can make a difference;
Girls together can change the world.
Girl Scouting is for every girl, everywhere---where today's girls can become tomorrow's leaders.
Membership in Girl Scouts is open to girls grades K-12; women and men over 17 can join as adult members.
The Girl Scout program—that is, what girls do in Girl Scouting—offers incredible opportunities for girls to grow in their leadership skills, develop lifelong friendships, and earn awards along each step of their leadership journeys, no matter what their grade levels, experiences with Girl Scouting, or background.
Caring, supportive adults partner with Girl Scouts to inspire girls to achieve their dreams. A Girl Scout volunteer has the opportunity to awaken in girls their personal leadership abilities and the promise to develop to their full potential.
So if you're ready to take on the challenge, Girl Scouts is here to inspire you. Whatever your interest, Girl Scouts has it.
