For leaders and co-leaders who want to take your troop camping the Girl Scout way. It includes outdoor cooking, camping skills, fire safety, Leave No Trace, camping equipment use, sleeping in the backyard, and tents, and more. Take this class 8-10 weeks before you plan your first camping activity. This allows for planning progression with your troop and proper paperwork approval.
The following is NOT covered in this class, and Domestic Troop Travel training is required:
1. Compartmentalized Overnights (hotels, hostels, time shares, other rentals, etc.) are considered travel activities.
2. Travel for 3 or more nights to any location (excluding a Federal Holiday).
No walk-ins will be accepted.
All cancelations are subject to a 10% administration fee. No refunds or transfers will be given after the close of registration
